Historique :
Cet avant-port est un témoignage de l'aménagement et de l'activité du port de Honfleur au XIXe siècle. 1840-1845 : construction du phare, de la baraque aux balises et des baraques de l'avant-port. 1857 : agrandissement de la baraque aux balises, construction du premier mât en bois. 1876 : reconstruction du mât en métal.
