Historique :
Dans les années 1860, un château remplace une ancienne maison forte seigneuriale du milieu du XVe siècle dont il reste un pan de mur et les vestiges de deux tourelles. Camille-Etienne Appay remodèle le site et fait reconstruire une maison de maître, des communs et des dépendances agricoles. De 1877 à 1880, construction puis agrandissement d'un nouveau logis. En 1893, Albert Paintendre donne au site son aspect actuel : parc paysager en 1893 par Nivet ; porterie néo-gothique ; importantes écuries. Nouvel agrandissement du logis vers 1897-1900 en un bâtiment de style Louis 13 à corps multiples réalisé par l'architecte Jules Martin, qui dessine également l'orangerie (1905) et le pavillon néo-rustique (1907). Les dessus-de-portes de la salle à manger ont été peints par Henri Tayan en 1899.
